Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using Lawnify ("the Service"), an AI-powered lawn care planning platform and two-sided marketplace connecting homeowners with lawn care service providers. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of your account.

2. Permitted Use

Lawnify is designed for lawful lawn care planning, marketplace transactions, and related activities. Permitted uses include:

Creating and managing personalized lawn care plans based on AI-generated recommendations
Uploading photos of your lawn and outdoor spaces for AI analysis and diagnosis
Browsing, hiring, and reviewing lawn care service providers through the marketplace
Registering and engaging as a lawn care service provider to offer services to homeowners
Using scheduling, reminders, and educational features to maintain your lawn
Leaving honest reviews and ratings based on genuine experiences

3. Prohibited Conduct — All Users

The following activities are prohibited for all users of the Service:

Illegal Activity: Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
Harassment: Threatening, bullying, intimidating, or harassing other users, including providers and homeowners, through messages, reviews, or any other feature of the Service
Spam: Sending unsolicited messages, advertisements, or promotional content to other users; posting repetitive or irrelevant content
Fake Accounts: Creating multiple accounts, impersonating another person or entity, or providing false identity information during registration
Scraping and Automation: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access, collect, or extract data from the Service without written authorization
Payment System Abuse: Attempting to bypass, circumvent, or manipulate the payment or credit system, including exploiting free trial offers or promotional credits
Malicious Content: Uploading files containing viruses, malware, trojans, or any other harmful code; attempting to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
Impersonation: Pretending to be a Lawnify employee, representative, or affiliate; falsely claiming endorsement or affiliation with Lawnify

4. Prohibited Conduct — Service Providers

In addition to the general prohibitions above, lawn care service providers must not:

Misrepresenting Qualifications: Providing false or misleading information about your experience, certifications, licensing, insurance coverage, or service capabilities
Out-of-Scope Services: Performing services that were not agreed upon, or that fall outside the scope of the original service request without prior homeowner approval
Off-Platform Solicitation: Soliciting homeowners to conduct transactions, arrange payments, or communicate outside of the Lawnify platform to circumvent fees or protections
Fake Reviews: Creating, purchasing, or soliciting fake reviews or ratings; offering incentives in exchange for positive reviews; posting reviews for your own services using alternate accounts

5. Prohibited Conduct — Homeowners

In addition to the general prohibitions above, homeowners must not:

Fraudulent Disputes: Filing false or fraudulent disputes, chargebacks, or claims against providers for services that were properly delivered
False Property Information: Providing inaccurate information about your property, including lot size, terrain, access conditions, or hazards that may affect a provider's ability to safely and effectively perform services
Provider Harassment: Harassing, threatening, or intimidating service providers before, during, or after a service engagement; making unreasonable demands outside the agreed-upon service scope

6. Content Standards

All content uploaded to or shared through the Service must comply with the following standards:

Relevant Photos: Photos uploaded for AI analysis must be of lawns, gardens, yards, or outdoor spaces relevant to lawn care. Photos that are unrelated to lawn care or outdoor property maintenance are not permitted.
No Offensive Content: Content must not contain obscene, pornographic, violent, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive material. This includes profile photos, review text, messages, and any other user-generated content.
No Copyrighted Content: Do not upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrighted images, text, or other protected material, unless you have the right to do so.
Accuracy: Reviews, ratings, and descriptions should be honest and based on genuine firsthand experiences. Do not post misleading or fabricated content.

7. Enforcement

Lawnify reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who violates this AUP. Enforcement actions may include, at our sole discretion:

Warning: A written notice describing the violation and requiring corrective action
Content Removal: Removal of content that violates this AUP, including reviews, photos, or profile information
Suspension: Temporary suspension of your account and access to the Service
Termination: Permanent termination of your account, including loss of access to all features, data, and marketplace activity

If your account is terminated due to a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, you are not entitled to any refund of subscription fees, unused credits, or pending marketplace payments. Lawnify may also pursue legal remedies where appropriate.

8. Reporting Violations

If you believe a user has violated this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

When reporting a violation, please include as much detail as possible, including the user involved, a description of the behavior, and any supporting evidence such as screenshots or message records. Reports can be submitted anonymously, but providing your contact information helps us follow up if needed.
